    CAV to suit 2002 TD5 II ?

    Hi All,

Having problems finding the right CAV style filter system to replace the standard 4 port system on the TD5 2002 II Disco'.

Thought I had it nailed with the Ryco R2132UA but the inlets on this are smaller than the hose fittings (see attached), but also the port configuration is opposite (not sure if this is a problem).

I would prefer to have a glass bowl CAV even though it sits to the side of the driver's rear wheel.

Does anyone know (using), of a suitable CAV option?

    Cheers, Pete'

Mate, why change the manufacturers design? It should work fine as it is.

Mainly because as I'm running bio, I want to be able to see what's being collected in the filter and the other important reason is that I want to change filter cartridges much more frequently.

As the normal filter runs at about $90, a Ryco replacement at $60 but a CAV cartridge at $10, you do the math.

I've been led to believe that you could not run Bio on a Td5

Oh well, it will give me something to research for today
