    3.9 V8i dizzy cap & rotor

Could someone please tell me what the LR recommended replacement schedule is for these parts?

    Thank you.

Did'nt think there would be a schedule??

If it ain't broke ... don't fix it
They usually last most of the life of the engine .... only get changed when your hunting down electrical troubles
or if they show signs of "Pitting or Arking"

They are a service item. I change them every 100 KK. The gap between the rotor and pegs gets bigger and you get low rev misses and poor timing.

    Thanks both.

Philip, that was my thinking but I couldn't find anything on that. 100 k/km seems reasonable.
Mine are looking a bit dodgy & I was able to scrape residue that appeared to be metal, from the pegs. It had to come from somewhere & leave a gap.

Right, out they go & in with Genuine Parts items.
