I removed the A/c condensor from in front of the radiator and it made about a 15 deg reduction on the temp gauge. Runs a nice 78 deg now insted of about 93.
Roll on summer.
I have a 4.4 terrier motor in my county and have a VDO electric gauge, it runs between 90 and 97degrees on the gauge never gets hotter no mater what I do to it. Most over heating problems are caused by the low compression in those engines. I have 10.5 : 1 pistons Rover heads, timing cover, high flow oil pump, Disco EFI system, water pump, fan and clutch, 4 row radiator and snorkel. Runs great heaps of grunt and eats sand dunes, mud or what ever I attack with it!
