Alternator...help!!

MR auto has them at somethinkg like $400.

Try KINGS Electrics ... My Bro had his done via them (Disco V8i 2000)
They should be able to fix it in a day
I believe they are in the Bayswater (WA) area

I would have suggested "HENRY'S Auto" down at the bottom of Kalamunda Rd where WesTrac is .... Han's (who owned it) sold it to a new crowd and I don't know what they are like

yes purchased new alternater a few months ago for d2 td5 $650.00 WITH vac pump attached hope this hurts oops helps

Thanks everyone. Don't know how they can justify that much really, last time I bought a new one it was $50, but I suppose that was around 1985 or so. :angel:



Ah well, the vehicle is due for its 200,000km service anyway so it's now at Rovertech getting that and the alternator done. ;)
