I personally would go for Mickey Thompson MTZ, I run their ATZ at the moment in LT245/75R16.
There is always interest free as well, I still got a good deal on my ATZ through Jax Tyre Fit in Epping, always cheaper than the competition each time I've got quotes.

Mark,
All of the Silverstone MT117 Extremes are 15"s except for the 35x10.5, and I don't think 15" rims fit a disco 2, so that counts them out. If you are only going with something like a BFG mud or a MTZ, then I wouldn't bother running two sets of tyres these they shouldn't effect the handling that much and you should get a few k's out of them. I friend of mine swears that BFG Muds handle better on wet bitumen than BFG AT's! If you still want to run two sets, then I would get the most aggressive tyre that you can afford, as you can never have too much grip. Perhaps a set of 32" Simex, as they are actually closer to a 33", and are taller than a Silverstone 33x10.5x15.
