    Auto Selector removal

Can any one give me a heads up on removal of the Auto selector knob,

I have read RAVE and it says to put it into Drive and remove knob. Is there something I am missing?

    Thanks

    What sort of car?

If its a D1, remove to cover on knob, remove circlip, and button assembly, then remove the nut and pull it off.

If it's a D2, put it in D or neutral & give a swift pull, yank or jerk upwards. There's nothing to undo on the D2.

Thanks Ricey, Confusion solved this car is getting easier to work on than the D1 must be to make up for all the technology
