    Bullbars and blinkers

    Hi Guys.
    I have a 2008 defender and have just had a bullbar fitted.
    The thing i've noticed now is that when you use the blinkers however the trailer blinker light flashes like you have a trailer on.
    Is there anyway to connect this up so that it only works when you have a trailer on?

    The Disco2 does this also. The fix is to change the ARB indicators down to 5w globes.

    Does anyone have the wiring diagram for a disco 2. I just fitted a bar to mine but not sure which wires are for the indicators etc (brother has my multimeter).

    Eck,
    The other solution is to replace the globes with LED globes. Can buy them from several places on line and also from Jaycar. They are a bayonet fit just like the originals, give great light but draw almost no power. Did it on my Disco2 when I fitted the bullbar and problem solved.

    Easiest thing is pull the indicators out and you'll see the wires on the back. The wiring diagrams are on the RAVE CD, but I don't have this on my Mac.

    Thanks, but I've already tried this. I found the wires into the back of the indicators and parkers to be not present in the loom that goes into the back of the headlight unit at the socket. I think I'll just hunt down my brother.
