Hi Shane
The problem with the non-winch bar is that it is not tall enough to fit a winch so the 6mm plate I made was 790mm wide, 185mm high (tall enough for an 8000lb Warn in my case) and the return was 65mm. The width brings it very close to the bullbar uprights so you can weld these into the new structure (best to check the measurements of your bar in case it is a bit different to mine). I cut out the top plate of the bar carefully so that the plate was flush with the original bend the bar makes from the verticle front face to horizontal top section but was flat against the inside of the bar. I then welded the plate to the inside of the bar. The winch mounts to the inside of the new vertical plate and also mounts the roller on the outside. You just need to determine the space you need for the cable and cut the appropriate hole through both the now welded in plate and the front of the bull bar. I used the 65mm return welded to the top of the plate for extra strength and to mount the driving lights. If you are going to mount another type/make of winch just increse the hight of the plate as required The bar is easy to remove on your own as it is not that heavy. If you want I can take a couple of closer pics tomorrow and post them up
Cheers
Nick
