Thread: Largest tyres for Defender 130?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at getting some new tyres for the beast and i'm wondering if anyone can tell me the largest tyre size i can go up to on 16 inch rims, without a lift.

Hi,
I run 255/85R16 stock suspension and 130 wheels.
They do touch the radius arms at full lock, adjusting the steering stops will fix this, they also make the turning circle worse.
I don't think you'll get anything bigger than that on a 6.5 inch rim, but I'll stand corrected.
