Hi all, just a quick q. As Im a new owner of the marquee, does an 84 rangie have a limited slip diff in the rear, is one available to fit or is a locker a better proposition. Soon to have the rangie on the road. Thanks Bob H

Bob,
Check out Rovertracks website in the US, swap to 24spline axles etc from a Disco 1, and fit a Detroit locker to the rear. You won't look back. (Except to see if the Cruiser you are towing has come off the tow rope)
Seriously, the detroit locker or Trutrack and 24spline axles is the best upgrade you can do to a classic RR.

No they don't have limited slip diffs.
If you want something similar to a limited slip, consider a trutrac from locked drive systems I have trutracs in my disco. The other options are auto lockers (I don't have any experience with any of these) or selective lockers (I do have these) such as ARB, Macnamarra (my peference) or maxidrive (whatever they are known as now.
This will also overcome the weakest part of the rangie drive line (2 pinion diff centre). If going to that trouble (well worthwhile) consider upgrading to 24 spline axles.
