I know I can stand my 35" BALD pro comp MT (which is my spare......and has been for over 7 years:confused:) against my, now 10k old MTZ and its a "good" inch taller:eek::(, but they do measure oversize (procomp)

Just wondering has anyone managed to get 12.5X35 Engineered on a RRC or Disco 1 in NSW. I have heard 33" is all they will allow although the engineer I'm talking to says 35s will be OK:confused:

Just going through it at the moment with the engineer.

you need.

1) brake upgrade and inspection station print out to varify.

I run 110 front calipers and 3 port Disco master cyl with Disco booster on our 85 RRC

2) speedo correction unit.

just ordered mine from Marks 4x4 adaptors.

3) Tyres must be radials of coarse. Rims must be no bigger than 8'' wide and must be standard offset.

4 ) flares fitted if required.

Also I have had our RRC engineered from front to back with 33''s. including heavy duty track rod and steering arm. Also it has been CASTOR CORRECTED which they will check.

Talk to an engineer first as they all have their own funny ideas.

Thats interesting you had to have radials. My engineer allowed me to run Bias tyres and marked this on the papers. He did however check for speed and load rating etc. on the tyre.

The other thing which you might find useful, I used a speedo correction unit (Truspeed) with 2 settings, and so am engineered for 2 different tyre sizes.

Well we found Radial Claw:eek:Mickey Thompson - World's Toughest Traction Tyres!.
My supplier thought I wanted them for the 120" 110:confused:
They would look good on the Rangie but I'm not sure they will cut it on the black top:( Have any of you run these things?

Radial Claws are crap, don;t touch them;)

Got some of them stashed away on internally locked EWW rims, must get them down and get externals fitted one say, internals locks suck to:mad:

Hate to say it but I may be running a similar set up when coming down your way:(
Just a thought :twisted: I may bring a set of 9.50/16 Tractor tyres with no rims to keep weight down. Just need some crapy rims, an oxy, some 50mm flat and a mig:twisted:

I could just lend you my tractor tyres, can't remember what size, but measure 35":twisted:

ok... we now have 35X12.5 MTZ X 5:eek:
