plastic fuel hose......

if it was up to me, i'd stop looking for plastic fuel line.
my dad had a truck which caught fire [a british truck] and the plastic fuel hose melted, it burnt 40 acres of radio australia and destroyed the truck - and the load, even melted the gearbox off the gears inside it, burnt for three days -
ring mr enzed or pirtek and get real hose.

thats the plan but I dont want to go and spend $500 on proper hosing untill I have the system working just so.

Since all my hose routing has all the pipes going nowhere near exhausts Its not going to melt through in a hurry and even if it did its a diesel and thats a bitch to light

if you want to keep it "plastic" the plastic of choice would have to be teflon as it melts at about 200 degrees C.

this is for a WVO conversion right? are you going to keep a diesel tank and run the WVO fuel lines inside the radiator or heater hoses? or going for an independent pre-heater?

lots of options about...

Ive got the exhuast routed near the bottom of the tank and shrouded so it deals with the initial preheat and then theres an independant pre heater tank...

IVe got to get round to uploading the pics of the setup... everytime Ive takes some pics Ive always thought... no, I'll just fix this next bit and then I'll do the post.

Dave, Mercedes Benz trucks (most) use Plastic fuel hose, dip the end in some hot water and push on to barb, only way you will get them off is to heat them or cut, good stuff, M/B should stock it, Regards Frank.

Very customer friendly, Harvey Hose. When they started up, they were closer to the Rocklea pubs, next to Brown & Ugly's. If you paid cash and didn't need a docket they didn't charge sales tax.
