Thread: Disco 2 Driving Light Wiring?

Question Disco 2 Driving Light Wiring?

Will there be any computer issues if I just wire up the driving lights through a basic 4 pin relay, with a generic on/off switch in the cabin switching the high beam wire to the relay?

    Hi Shaker,
That is how my driving lights are wired, doesn't cause any issues.

Quite the opposite if you want the pain and expense of putting in the genuine wiring kit then you need to tell the BCU its there. Much easier to bypass all that and just wire them in. Do a search lots of info on wiring in to a D2.

With all the posts I am putting up about wiring it would appear that I have never done it before, quite the opposite actually, it just that I am a bit nervous about the Disco & all it's whizz bang circuitry!
Previous 4WD was a Nissan, didn't worry me in the least.
