I was going to put a switch in the cabin so I can turn them on before it gets to the quoted 100dec which I beleive is to high.
If Landrover have them come on without the A/C on then they must drop the temp.
Just for towing any other time temp sit perfect.
I get a feeling there stuffed.

Which two wires are for the A/C fans.
Is it the sender closest to the radiator the one I need to use or the other one.
Don't wish to stuff something else up while doing this.
Any info would be great.:)

I don't know about the 300 but on the D1 V8i the AC fan thermostat is screwed into the water pump outlet not from any block mounted sensor. It looks like an 'Intermotor' type of t/stat with 2 spade terminals.
I understood it was 88c not 100c. It is what I have always understood from somewhere.
Whether the same one is used on the 300 is more than I can say.

although the idea is there, the condenser fans dont really make that much of a difference as they are only small and sitting flush on the front, dont really pump a huge amount of air. OK for the A/C when idling or cawling in city traffic, but for cooling purposes........Quote:

If your temp is getting that high when towing, it might be time to look at why its getting that hot. Injector pump timing, blocked radiator core internal and external, thermostat, viscous etc are your best bet.
If thats all OK, then a thermo fan conversion would be the next option.
Done this on the classic some time ago using the in place thermo switch wiring but changed the switch to a lower on/off temp.
To get an idea of how much air they do flow, pull the wires off the switch on the water outlet with the ignition on and short them together.
