    Angry HELP! RR Alternator-120a

So, I drove in to auto shop and ask about a high output alternator cos my standard unit is nearly stuffed. They order one in, which i recieve the next day. Does not fit mounting system and has belt pulley.

Send it back, only to have exact same problem with the new unit, minus the belt isue.

Now they want my old unit to copy and build one up to those mounting specs. So now I am without a car for atleast 2 days.

My question is...... Is there a standard BOLT IN UNIT for my 87 RR?
Should they need my old one to copy down at the factory?

I don't think there is a straight bolt in replacement, but there are a few alternatives. Do a search on here, it has been discussed in the past.
