    Odermeter flashing

    I just picked up a 2000 TDI discovery yesterday and I have just noticed the Odermeter continusaly flashes any idea's as to the problem. I'm new to Land Rovers having had landcruisers for many years.

    I had the same problem when I bought my Disco. You need to take it to someone who can plug into the OBD connector & reset the error codes. This fixed mine and he did not even charge me to do it.

    2000 would be a TD5. I thought that the odometer flashed if the odometer had been tampered with and so didn't have a reading that correlated with the BCU.
