    OIL IN INJECTOR HARNES

I guess every TD5 has this problem but know one has a fix
I am going to try somthing but would like some feed back.
Were the plug is at the front of the head I am going to cut all the wires about 80mm from the plug strip them back and solder in 100mm of solid wire with no cover on it then I am going to place all the wires in a plastic box and fill the box up with resien or somthing simlar to stop the oil from tracking along the wire this should make a solid block that the oil caint get along

tried that... filling the box with resin wont help..

placing in 2 pieces of sponge in with a significant airgap works better

    Hi All
Had this problem about 2 years ago replaced the loom with a new one and sealed all the connectors with silicon seems to have worked so far although i have not checked it for a while as i have not had any problems. I did post some pictures on how i did the job then. Message - AULRO Photo Gallery I think sealing the main plug is the most important thing and also capping it.
    Regards
    Doug
