My engine is stock remember,no mods done.It was done in fourth, one to one and the tyre size would make a difference. On the air ratio sheet the air flow is a bit low so the air filter is restricting it a bit or the turbo is tired or a bit of both.It does drive very well though. Pat
Thats right, believe me the gas totally changes the engine,it still has lag off idle but once it starts to spool up it revs alot cleaner right throughout the rev range. It makes it far more driveable.I would like to do something about the low air reading. Pat
Actually it does make a difference, unless ALL the data is inputted, which is still just mythical as tyre drag alone can make a huge difference, i.e. A/T vs Simex
At the end of the day, the figures ARE INACCURATE, especially compared to any other Dynometer, but the back to back comparison figures are accurate and precisely what you want to know, in regards to %gained
How much did the kit cost all up fitted ?
Yes it is:p, most operators will tune in shootout mode, not calibrating eveything in, otherwise you HAVE to pump in, tyre size, diff ratio, gear ratio, then still it means lick, then the dyno must be cal'ed to Australian standards etc
Have you ever run back to back with different size tyres?
