I like to do mine every Saturday morning its like a ritual :p then during the week just keep an eye ear and feelers out for anything that might not be working as well as it should and i like to jump under every 5000K to check all the rubbers etc, or before and after a trip off road :)
Before any big trip...
Before a run to Adelaide
Daily During a trip
Upon return from trip
otherwise only when 1 of the following occurs...
1) Noise I havent heard before
2) Washer bottle needs topping Up
3) I'm giving her a service.
My Landies have been the MOST reliable vehicles I've ever owned (no BS)
How do you open the bonnet??:eek:
Before I start the Defender and at the moment during start up and shut down:angel:.
I think I need a see through bonnet
Weekly, unless I'm out bush or travelling, then its either daily or before I set off after stopping.
When travelling no mater what car I always check under the bonnet at least twice a day.
ho har is out there now looking under the bonnet as we are heading off on a trip tomorrow:D and it will be daily for the next two weeks:D
when home about once a week
