It's aimed at the commercial user that uses oil monitoring to ascertain drain intervals as well as component condition.
Unfortunately you usually have to buy multiple 'Wear Check' kits in one hit as it's aimed at the commercial user, whereas the e-monitor kits are aimed at the casual user that just wants to keep an eye on things, say once a year.
