Lifting a D2 with SLS

Pre installataion, when you pressed the button inside to raise the rear airbags 2inches there was enough brakeline; however, now with the kit and the airbags fully raised that additional 2inches, are the brake lines long enough and are they long enough at full lift and full articulation?

See brake line spacers in one of the images....

When mick (cal415) fitted the same kit a few years back now to his old D2 i made him some longer spacers for the sensors made it lift just a tad higher in the rear and yep it was a great set up was a shame he had to let it go its a great set up D2 :cool::cool::cool:

Hi Pete,
on the 4x4 intel website, they say extended bump stops included in the kit. I note you dont have them. Do you need them?
How is your handling now?

Hey Mark, yep we did install them..when I say "we" Pete and Justin did. Handling is fine...better I would say. Still getting used to it...plus the tyres....final product :cool:

You can see in the pics the front tailshaft hitting the front chassis crossmember. If you un-bolt this the axle moves a lot lower and the springs can be easily pushed into place - watch you dont stretch the brake lines though!

You can use your ratchet tie down straps to compress the springs also. One each side of the spring and compress enough to fit in.
