I understand that however (excluding his post before this one) it wasn't certain the fuel circuit was the culprit yet.

In the V8 Disco1 the pump runs for 15 seconds when the ign is switched on to build pressure and then switches off until you start the car when it runs constantly. Easy for this to mess you around when tired and working alone I suppose.

Time to strip the pump down.

Hey Disco, Maybe you should have kept the old red one.
Its going great and I can see after doing the headlining.I'll transfer rego this month before expiry.

    Good luck with the pump.

    IT LIVES!!!

Well got the new pump, fitted it, did the build up pressure thing and forgot to crank with foot flat to floor (yes that does make a difference)

For the record the price from M R Automotive was $650 ouch on top of the fuel block I put in two weeks ago. Still the overall cost hasn't blown out yet.

Thanks for the update Terry, I received the renewal the other day. Yes I do miss the old bus but enjoying the new one more

    Nice one Dan.

Not sure about the aftermarket ones Pat, but

I can get genuine LR ones for about $575, maybe a touch less... If anyone needs one. (Think I will get some in stock)
