Stuck starter motor, loose battery connections...? thats about all that will stop them turning over..

dead ignition barrel?
has your remote bliper got a dead battery? take it off the key ring and hold it against the steering column. if the battery goes flat it wont send the security code to the ecu.

Just an update .. NO LONGER STUCK ON SIDE OF ROAD..

A mate came and gave me a push and we got it clutch started and got it home. Started perfectly using the clutch..

Got it home, still nothing when I turn the key, well same as above nothing engine wise

No alarm in it thanks Discowhite, so it will not be that, ignition barrel, could be, but it turns on ACC no issues, and worked (kept car going) when it was clutch started.

If it was a small child or a dog, it would be in the corner hiding with the glares I am giving it out my window... and I was out buying it toys as well!!!!!

There is no ticking or anything to indicate the starter motor solenoid is doing anything either.

Any other suggestions would be great ..

Not much it can be. Did you check the battery leads. always best to start with the most simple things.

Can you drop the steering column shroud and hot wire it to say for sure it is or isn't the ignition barrel?

Battery seemed fine, tight and clean terminals, going down when its a tad cooler with the multi metre to make sure (and I kid you not, today I was out getting a VDO voltmetre for my MUD console...)

And the Aircon / Radio / Fuel interior and all other things are working fine off the battery as well, but will check the big fat one going to the starter!

I will give them a clean etc when I am at it, but they seem fine.

The battery hasnt died has it Lack of volts will do this and battery,s can die with out warning

I could .. but I am good at hacking banks, telcos and porn sites (ah I love my job) but, hot wiring cars is not my fort-ay.

Any suggestions or howto's would be great (gets out my balaclava)
