Radio code D2

Had everything disconnected to charge the batteries, after reconnecting the batteries we tried to put the radio code in the get it working and Kerry missed one number, so she tried again and it has come up with these dashes ---- ---- where the code has to go but it won't except anything, has anyone had this problem

off memory you now have to leave it 1 hour or so with the ignition on.. it will then let you enter the code again...

What he said. If you can't get it right and its the original radio then a dealer can get you the correct code from you VIN
