Thread: Please Help!!!!!!!!!03 Diso TD5 Alarm prob

Hi There,

Weirdest problem just started over the last couple of weeks, hope someone can help.

When I turn key to position II the downhill and TC lights stay on. There is then 3beeps and when I try to start the ignition the engine starts to tick over, promptly stops ticking over and then the alarm and horn start going off. If I try 3 times to start the battery dies. When I jump start it starts fine but next time it does the same again. Veryfrustrating.

Didn't have this problem for the first 4 month and now it's happening. At the moment the old girl isn't getting much use. Does anyone kow if this could be because of low charge in the battery?

Sounds like it could be your battery, you can check it yourself with a cheap Volt meter from super cheap or the like $16.00app to check on voltage from battery before starting and after started and with lights on to get an idea on what is happenning with battery and alternator. But it sounds like your battery is dying and or you have a drain on battery.
(you might now some one with volt meter.)
If you do not wont to do this a battery place will check it for you some free others charge.
