Pat, yes, the axles are live, but...
Each wheel hub consists of a hub flange pressed into a hub bearing. The hub flange is splined to accept the constant velocity joint of the drive shaft, secured to the hub flange with a stake nut. The outer race of the hub bearing is bolted to the steering knuckle. The hub bearing is sealed, containing twin opposed roller bearings, prepacked with grease during manufacture.
The steering knuckle is mounted on upper and lower ball joints.
Areas of wear - ball joints, hub bearings and at high use/abuse CVJs.
If hub bearings are a problem, they can be heard (!) and there will be associated brake performance issues.
A little different to earlier front axle assemblies.
Rear axles are essentially the same.

Paying closer attention it happens specifically when crossing the 70km/h mark. More so coming down from a higher speed and having a slight angle on the steering.
Perre has suggested propshafts. Did you check? Does it have CDL? You could take one propshaft off, lock CDL and see if you get the same wobble at 70k? I am also wondering if you have UJ's on their way out. May be worth a try...
I'll bet its tyres and shocks...
Old worn shocks have caused abnormal wear on the tyres.
Look closely, there is most likely darker spots on those tyres...
