Where are you located Oupot? (Don't know why people dont put this up as it makes it a lot easier for people to help you), If you are in Melb East, I can lend you a set of tyres on rims for a few days. Also happy to help you check the cardan joint etc.... I dont think it would be that, but it wouldn;t hurt to check it anyway. I got a wobble like this a while ago under light braking, it was warped disc rotors.
Pat, yes, the axles are live, but...
Each wheel hub consists of a hub flange pressed into a hub bearing. The hub flange is splined to accept the constant velocity joint of the drive shaft, secured to the hub flange with a stake nut. The outer race of the hub bearing is bolted to the steering knuckle. The hub bearing is sealed, containing twin opposed roller bearings, prepacked with grease during manufacture.
The steering knuckle is mounted on upper and lower ball joints.
Areas of wear - ball joints, hub bearings and at high use/abuse CVJs.
If hub bearings are a problem, they can be heard (!) and there will be associated brake performance issues.
A little different to earlier front axle assemblies.
Rear axles are essentially the same.
HTH in the explanation area.

As you can tell I've never worked on a D2. Pat
Could it be freeplay in the steering box or a rod end - can you move your steering wheel without the right tyre / wheel moving? (may have been mentioned in a previous post)
Erich
Sorry for the late reply... been away.
No, the moment I wiggle the steering wheel, the wheel moves. Only when standing still and the steering is turn to lock is there some free play.
Paying closer attention it happens specifically when crossing the 70km/h mark. More so coming down from a higher speed and having a slight angle on the steering.
Perre has suggested propshafts. Did you check? Does it have CDL? You could take one propshaft off, lock CDL and see if you get the same wobble at 70k? I am also wondering if you have UJ's on their way out. May be worth a try...
I'll bet its tyres and shocks...
Old worn shocks have caused abnormal wear on the tyres.
Look closely, there is most likely darker spots on those tyres...
> When were the shocks last replaced?
> What shocks are they?
> When were the tyres replaced?
> When were they balanced last?
> Can you post a pic of the tyres, macro mode to show close up of entire tread face.
