Alternator changover

It's quite easy to modify that model of Disco to use a Bosch alternator of a similar mount design. Visit your local auto electrician and see what he has available. You will need to swap the drive pulley off your old alternator and wire a tacho feed wire into it if it hasn't got an external "W" terminal already. I used to use XF Falcon alternators for this conversion, some Magnas also had similar mountings. Bosch alternators are dead easy to fix and upgrade to higher outputs, their basic design remained the same for decades. With a bit of mount adaption you can also use their 120 amp universal alternators which are still available new.
