Nope as the bolts in the bar went with the bar and there was no crush tube...

I am unable to save the photo and shop it to point out what I mean, but if you have a look above the plates and focus on the nuts, then draw a parrallel accross the chassis rail to where the bolt heads emerge you would see that they do not connect to the bar mounting bolts. Hence the 3rd bolt position inside the framing for the body mount.

    Just like Tombie's photo shows.

The bar that this car had was a Custom Winch bar and it was bolted thru the same bolt hole.

When i sold the bar i gave him the bolts and the car has long gone. so i can look to see if it had crush tubes or not.

    Simple....
I'll refund you the purchase price and i will organise to get it back to vic.
I honestly did not know they drilled another hole in the chassis. Suppose we all assume things just bolt up.......

I'm currently in Canberra but will get home tomorrow. I have an AMV steering protector bolted to my 94 ES (so it has air bags) and will get some pics posted on Tuesday.

I have had my guard off and I am pretty sure that it does not have crush tubes and also fairly certain that no extra drilling was required... But as said I will take some pics and post them so you can see how it is mounted.

    ??????

I'm not asking for a refund!! You know what its like you get something new that you have wanted just frustrating when you cant fit it right away! I will sort it out its fine I was only asking in the hope that you might have forgotten that you had taken other bits off with it.

and I have no idea what your talking about in regards to drilling.....the hole is already there in the chassis bullbar uses the first 2 the third is taken up by the guard.
