Yeah mine lines up ok so there was no extra drilling required. My arb bull bar serves to reinforce the inside of the chassis and on the outside I have a thick washer. It is possible to crush the chassis but I dont do it up THAT tight.
Remember this thing is designed as a steering protector and so it hangs down to protect your steering arms and the panhard rod. It is still possible to bend arms with these things fitted, but it is more likely when the front axle is articulating as the steering components then have to drop down to follow the axle movement.
