    Intermitant stoppage???????

Further to my previous post about this problem, somehow it has fixed itself after the battery was disconnected for about 1/2hr for another reason. Reconnected the battery and the car drives good again so far. Thanks to all who offered their knowledge in trying to track down and fix the old girl. [the car, not SHMBO]

Hate to be bearer of bad tidings but disconnecting the battery does nothing on old injection systems as they have no memories. I am guessing you are referring to the old RRC in the photo.

So it is just coincidence unless caused by a bad battery connection.

Hi Phillip, No, not the RRC in the photo. Problem refers to my new drive of92 2 door Disco. Been slack I know as I havnt changed the photo. Disco currently up for sale as just bought an 88 RRC with elect windows, mirrors, and sunroof and 4.2l motor and ZF 4 speed auto. Love the Rangies more.

    Same Same for 92 Disco.
Every time you turn the ignition off its a whole new day for a 14CUX.
