		theres a reason you cant machine them....
surprisingly its not that it cant be done...
usually its not the mount up and friction face that fails.
its the bits behind them that does the cushioning and support usually lets go before the face needs work.
machining a dual mass flywheel in that condition would be like trying to plane jelly.
you could try and rebuild one but IMHO by the time you buy all the bits, pull the old one apart, stick the new bits in, machine it and then balance it all up its going to be cheaper and more time effecient to just fit up a new one.
