235/85/16 is the metric equivalent. A bit wider than the 7.50s but the same rolling diameter.
I have just purchased 6 disco rims for my Defender. The question is what size tyres do I need to fit to maintain the same rolling diameter as the standard 750 16? My guess is 235 70 16.
Thanks
Phil

As above - 235/85-16
BUT - if you do any 4x4ing. 255/85-16s are slightly larger - which helps with clearance under the rear diff and traction offroad.
