i replaced mine due to it being flogged out and after replacing it with a new greaseable one wich cost either $120 or $160 (i cant recall the exact cost) after replacing the ball joint ALL bangs and clunks went away when you change gears which some people thought was the stub axel splines flogged out but when changing the bearings we checked the splines and they were as good as new.um when i replaced it i took the whole A frame off and luckily the thing fell apart in out hands which saved some hassel, we then put the new greaseable one in and also replaced the 2 large bolts and nuts holding the A frame with new high tensile bolts due to the old ones being striped when trying to take the A frame off. now i just grease the joint when i do my oil change and grease the whole shabang.
