Ok i got all new bearings and those double lipped oil seals today
So now i've just gotta put it back togethor, when i refit the new bearings do i pack them with bearing grease as usual and let the oil mix with the grease, or just oil them up before hand?
Also when i fill the diff up again, i've heard something about jacking each side of the axle up (one at a time) and let the oil drain in to the hubs, is this correct?

    Thanks in advance TIM.

I'm getting a bit confused here. (74 / 81 RRC). So the bearings in mine are oil lubed?

They always gave that appearance when I had to remove the stub axle for whatever reason, by leaking oil over the rim and tyre.

Is this diff oil? All seals are always good or new.

I have parts diagrams for oil and grease lubed hubs. The main differences between the two seem to be grease seals vs oil seals and tone rings for abs.

Can anyone please explain the differences further?

    cheers, DL
Bit of a bump here, but it is the same topic just a different POS.

    cheers, DL
