I've decided to do full service on head, couse you have to get it out anyway. it will be checked, machined, resealed.
If you on 160 or more K's and want to hold on to your car - that's the way to go - I recon.
But wait ....maby someone has got better ideas...????
youd be doing the right thing getting it serviced..........also get a straight edge on the top of the block
to make sure thats also flat.......especially where the leak was......
and use the correct OAT red coolant.......make sure you have the heater on when you do a coolant flush/fill.......
as mentioned above......its important to flush out all old coolant before changing to the red stuff......

It turned out it wasn't head gasket after all....!!!!
But Threaded water jet Plug - just under exaust plate...
So... Attn. to all with simillar problem - it doeasn't have to be so bad...
I am gonna sevrive radiator instead ....
Got to be happy with that.Getting the rad serviced is my no.1 on LR's.To be difficult I think you should stay with the green coolant.Flush and change every 12 months. PatQuote:
