    Rovacomlite verses Nanocom. Which one?????

I am considering buying a diagnostic tool for my TD5.
The problem is which one is best for me considering price and value for money. I presently don’t own a laptop either.
The present two Landover “problems” which I need to cure are as follows.
    1. My Defender ECU is not running my fuel pump.
    2. The ECU I have as a spare is from a Disco. When it is plugged in, it runs the fuel pump however it doesn’t fire up as I think it needs to be coded to the Defender’s injectors and immobilizer, is this correct?
3.I have also recently purchased a water damaged Disco 2 TD5 which runs but displays several fault lights.
    Any info/opinions would be great.

Nanocom is much cheaper and doesnt need a laptop,BUT it wont do as much as the Rovacom.
Nanocom should help you with everything you need.
In the "Electronic Diagnostics" area there is a list of members with diagnostic gear willing to help others out.Get somebody in your area to give you a demo of their nanocom.

Second what LandyAndy said. Nanocom is cheaper and will do pretty much everything you will need.
