well now i and sitting with a spinning head.. what to do..
no i don't want to do 120 kmh but 40kmh is a bit slow...
i would love to do "back to track " next year and to pull at leat a number 5
over a few dunes.. so i am open to all good ideas

Some more comments from the 101 club - now beginning to wander off topic but some points may still be of interest.

" I think he means you use the standard 101 3.5 manifolds. Good ole mix and match of V8 bits."

" Yeah, stick with the 4.6 heads and just move the intake manifold and carbs over from the 3.5. If they are stromberg carbs however, you will have trouble running them on petrol. You really need SU's to be able to tune them enough for a bigger v8. Ive got a 3.9 in mine, which has the 3.5 intake and exhaust manifolds on."

"If you are going to increase the engine's capacity you really ought to look into uprating the brakes too. They are only just about up to the job as it is!"
