Where Is My Thermostat
I have a TD5 Disco and am learning to fix a few things on it myself because since I have moved to Country Victoria Service agent don't seem to exist.
I have an overheating problem and suspect the Thermostat. Can Anyone point me in the direction to find it.
If anyone Knows of a service agent near Ararat I would be please to be put in contact with them
Regards CP2

G'day,
Thermostat is in the bottom radiator hose.
It's in a plastic housing that I believe is non-servicable.
1 hose in from radiator and 2 out, uses a bypass system.
Enjoy the learning curve, I am
Cheers, Kyle.

Its a bugger of a job, helps if you have two or three elbows in each arm.
Jack the front up with the wheels on the ground. It will give you more room to maneuver the metal pipe that is part of the system, it has the drain bolt in it. Take a good look at the Rave disc so you can get your head around it. Took me around two hours to remove and insert.
The hoses have white marks on them that line up with markings on other parts like the thermostat.
Remove the thermo' and the metal pipe together and put them back as one unit. Well that's how I did it.
Best of luck.
