From memory it was a cheap fix.

Any idea where the turbo relief valve is situated? Trying to look through Rave at the moment but can't pinpoint it.

Thanks Angus. Started it up this morning and it ran fine. Am going to fill up and see if driving it brings back the symptoms or if I can detect any bubbles in the fuel tank as per Andrew's suggestion.

The turbo boost modulator is above the intercooler pipe.Follow the hose from the wastgate acuator down to it.

Its a small black square block with three hoses coming out of it.

Hmm, this is why I think it might be a sticking injector.
You need to get the nanocom on it and find out.
Might run a poll in the disco section on fuel conditioner. And see what comes of it.

OK, here's where I'm at:

1) Injector harness plug ECU end - no problems here.
2) Injector harness plug Rocker cover - no problem here.
3) Injector harness under rocker cover - cleaned that - seems to be a fair bit of oils around but not really sure what it should look like.

Started again today and it ran fine although I did not take it for a run.

There are small pools of oil in the troughs under the rocker cover (see pic) - is this normal?

I have now checked the ecu with a nanocom and found two error codes 27-05 and 31-05 which relate to injector #5. Could these faults have been caused by oil in the loom? The codes cleared OK and have not appeared again to date.

Any clues?
