    Batts dead

G'day all, I've just come home from 6 mths away. The fender was dead due to a fuel pump allready. But the batts have nothing in them at all. Even though disconected.

Is it worth trying to recharge and reclam batts that can't power a test light?

Or just go strait to replacments?

    Cheers Easo

Hi Easo, to be that low, I think they are beyond help BUT, you can’t loose anything by trying to charge them and see if the batteries don’t respond

Must agree it is worth trying to recharge them. You can get lucky sometimes.
Still using a motorcycle battery I bought back from the dead two years later. I needed to charge it a few times though, but after a while I could leave it alone.
