That's the one, I picked up mine for $395 from Gasweld here in Newcastle. Last one they had, so were keen to move it on, plus I haggled a bit....:cool:.
I haven't got the TIG lead though. It's an extra 90 bucks I think??
Very good welder, makes my stick welds look better than they have any right to. Never had it above about 80A and that was on 4mm plate.

The Weldskill 170 is more than suitable for home use, though if you were doing alot of TIG work the HF unit(Blackwoods p/n 07764485) would be much better...though double the price.
Dc means that you can only TIG ferrous material, so aluminium is out.
You can actually TIG off any DC welder, the 170 has a "scratch start", meaning that you have to "strike" an arc with the tungsten. Takes a bit of practice but its doable.
Unless you are doing lots of TIG work, the machine should be perfect for around the home and car modifications.
