    Rough idle after stopping

Hey guys, just bought a 96 disco, it runs smooth whilst driving but when i stop the idle goes anywhere from 1500 to 200 and once has stalled, it only happens after i brake into a stop which has me thinking it has something to do with a vacuum connected to the brakes somewhere, im not 100% on how they work though, any thoughts and opinions? it runs pretty smooth the rest of the time during driving operation, also i think today the brake pedal kicked back when reversing, i cant remember if i read this as a foible of the discoveries or a Jeep(as i was looking at both)
    any help fellas?

It's not exactly a wasted post - also check the vacuum advance on the dissy and the other vacuum connections at the side and rear of the plenum.
