Well, looking back over your posts you have a Discovery II ??
The ZF in that vehicle (ZF4HP22EH) is controlled by the small black computer under the passenger seat...
Shift points are handled by this unit and work in conjunction with the Engine ECU.
No cable to adjust on this version...
You can do a lot to the ZF. With the copm controlled one you have to keep the computer happy with your mods.
My box is out of a D2 but has been modded back to the valve body from the D1. It has also been beefed up with heavier springs and extra heavy clutches.
I would talk to an expert about what cvhanges you want.
I believe but don't take it as gospel that you can get a shift kit for it.
