IAW This post the fuel economy problem is solved.
when you have a constant velocity carby on one side thats got a ruptured diaphragm your power suffers as your essentially only running on one carby.
when its ripped halfway round that carby just doesnt work
when the second carby has a small series of holes like perforations around the edge it doesnt lift properly.
In conjunction with this when the second carby has a jelly like substance thats blocking about half the jet space you loose even more power.
When you fix all of those and you take it for a test frap and experimentally plant the boot in second after letting it warm up.. you get.
that wonderous v8 noise and the feel of the seat pushing you tombie insane td5 style as opposed to badly tuned 2.25 diesel style.
ok so my fuel economy now that Im feeding the engine a v8s worth of air and fuel rather than a whipper snippers migh be shot but franky, to be honest, I dont care.
