throttle position sensor faults
Hi - many of the typical TPS faults seem to relate to idling problems and apparently record a 'driver demand' error on Nanocom. I don't have any idling problems and no related fault code recorded on Nanocom. However, another AULRO member recently fixed their problem with poor performance between 2500 and 3000rpm by replacing the TPS - although they did have a fault code recorded. Is it possible to have a faulty TPS without a fault code being recorded and without any idling problems? Just don't want to take a punt and buy another sensor without greater confirmation that it is actually the problem.
I think what AULRO actually needs is a national register of spare sensors that people can swap out to provide definitive analysis...
