    Resomat

Has anyone used this? I'm thinking of putting it around my 110 transmission tunnel and floor with some marine carpet on top.

    Cheers

    wow, such a response!!

OK so noone has used resomat (Tru-Fit Carpets - Moulded Automotive Car Carpets for over 30 Years and 700 models) before.. maybe I'll take the plunge and post the results - or is there something else I should try?

For the others who have attempted the sound proofing - how many square meters will I need?

    Cheers,
    flagg.

There are quite a few threads on soundproofing etc (many started by me) but can't see ayone having used that product.

As i have still to get off my bum and decide what to do... if you go ahead do give us a report !

    Cheers

hmm fair enough. I've got the underbonnet stuff (which made a HUGE difference in my isuzu) from them and found them to be pretty good... that being said it wasn't a very complicated order

    flagg,

PM NJZ. He fitted Dynamat to the rear of his D1 (rear door, side panels). He researches things extensively so may be able to give you an opinion.

    dynamat

gday, i am currently fitting dynamat to my engine hood and flooring into my 109 fc . It is easy to mould over anything and sticks like ,,s... to a blanket. It has bitumin layer under a alloy foil. It comes in 800x 450 sheets at $42 each or i bought a box kit of nine pieces for $295. they are sold at car stereo outlets and claim it reduces noise by 8 to 10 db (or about 10% of land rovers average 100 db noise at 90km. I will test it soon but i believe it will make a huge difference as it seams very well made as it is claimed to be.
