How does one mount a lightforce type driving light (or anything bigger than a dichroic downlight for that matter) to a D1 ARB winch bar? There's only about 130mm between the mount and the top rail.

Do you reckon it hit the light? If so they must be tough buggers.
The only big roo I've hit at speed took out the ARB bar and the drivers side guard.

When I fitted my Nitestalker lights I bolted a piece of 30mm RHS to each bracket and drilled a hole through it towards the front to space my lights forward.
They make the lights sit a little higher but using a piece of flat would require the lights to be spaced even further forward due to the roll of the round bar section of the bullbar.
No pics so hope you can understand that excellent explanation.
Knocked both lights back into the top bar!
Just re-aimed them and off we went.
I've hit many things with them on the roof etc. And they just take it all!
Once hit a thick branch and actually bent the mount, the light survived.

Impressive, now I wont cringe quite so much every time I see such expensive lights sticking out past the bar.
