    Workshop Manual - Defender

    Hi All,

    Not a LR owner myself, but my father has bought a 2009 Defender and I must say, I am mighty impressed!!! I am trying to track down a workshop manual for him, as he will be doing a lot of outback travel, and being a mechanic, he should be able to get out of any trouble with his knowledge and a good workshop manual.

    I have done some searching on this website, but have not found much as yet.

    Any help please!!!

    CHEF, the head huncho of this site insicor has rave CD's far sale which have all model's (except latest), repair manual's. Try the web site Dave's Interesting Things.

    Hi,

    I have had a look at this - I don't think this covers his model of Defender. It is the new model with the 2.4CRD engine - not the TDI. Any other helpers???

    From about 2005 onwards everything is online via a subscription service - GTR: GLobal Technical Resource - Clicky: http://www.landrovertechinfo.com/extlrprod/market.jsp

    A few have subscribed and some people have taken a short subscription so they could get what they wanted off the site.

    The CD's Inc sells will cover all the earlier stuff as you have discovered.

    I just picked up a "HAINES" from fleabay for A$45 shipped.

    I hope not because Haynes don't list a manual for the 2.4L TDCi post 2007 Defender.

    Haynes manuals have their uses, e.g., packing under a leg of the camping table on uneven ground.
