    Wiring thro D2 firewall

Hey guys, not sure if the right place for this question.
(mods, please feel free to move as you see fit!)

Looking to run some new wiring through the firewall on a V8 D2 for a switch to a new ARB on-board compressor. Compressor is being mounted on a battery tray on the passenger side of the engine bay, located immediately in front of the firewall, behind the ABS control unit/box thingy! (can you tell I'm not mechanically minded?!?! )

Just wondering if anyone can advise on the best place on that side of the engine bay to run wires through the firewall so that they end up at the middle of the dash somewhere, without the need for drilling new holes?

Diagrams would be VERY useful, or a link to a page on RAVE!
Having to do this in evenings, with limited light, so looking for at least an indication where I should be looking!

Hoping to install before the WA-AULROians day trip this coming weekend.
    Cheers in advance....again!

Look for one of the large rubber grommets on the firewall which already has the main wiring harness passing through - about 40mm dia - on it you will find a few 'posts' about 8mm long with no wires. You can snip the end off these and pass your wire through - well sealed and no need for extra grommets for insulation.
