    Salisbury Diff Crown Wheel

In a few weeks will be putting a new ARB locker in my rear Salisbury of my County 110.

Need to buy a dial gauge and magnetic stand to record and reset backlash.

The ratios are 3.54 and will stay that way.

Looking at most of the dial gauges around the probe looks too thick to fit between the cw teeth. Have found a narrow probe type but does not fit any stands unless special order from o/s??

Does someone have the measurements of the width/depth of the crown wheel around the centre radius of the teeth; or what types of dial gauges & stands have people used?

Help appreciated as will save a couple of hours and probably diff oil.

The Kinchrome dial indicators work fine. $40 or so with stand

    Thanks Guys

I will get a plain Kinchrome or similar ilk, don't mind buying as will use for other measures, brake rotors, or whatever in the future. Just looked hard to get the standard dial probe in the gear teeth when I reading at the ARB installation manual and they had a narrow needle type probe.

Thanks Black Knight for your king offer to lend but I am in Melbourne
